A career professional that has spanned over three decades in both the public and private sectors, spanning various Ministry’s, firms, and projects. With expertise in grants, procurement, accounting, auditing and general administration, I have contributed significantly to the field of international development.
A graduate of the University of the West Indies, Mona, with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree, with honours in Management and Accounts, I have throughout my career, held various pivotal positions and successfully managed, implemented and closed out activities in a variety of international funded projects from entities such as the European Union, United States Agency for International Development (USAID), World Bank and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). These projects include the European Union Banana Support Programme (EUBSP), Jamaica Rural Economy and Ecosystems Adapting to Climate Change (JaREEACH I & II), Local Partner Development (LPD) and Jamaica Spices (JaSpice). Some of the focus areas were on climate change mitigation and adaptation, agriculture, and youth crime and violence prevention, where I successfully managed the grants and procurement portfolios.
My knowledge, experience, dedication and commitment in achieving targeted results in the various career path have left an indelible mark on the individuals and team I have worked with cementing a reputation as a leader in my field.
