Eleanor Henry
Senior Coordinator – The Hub
Eleanor Henry is responsible for management of the RESDEMBID-OCT Hub, a leading regional project that fosters intra-OCT regional connection, proactive exchange and collaboration, as well as capacity development for development financing.
A national of Jamaica, Eleanor’s career has been driven by a lifelong passion for multidimensional, multisectoral regional development. She brings to her role extensive experience in project management, including on European Union-financed projects. Working effectively across the public and private sectors, she has a strong track record of managing relationships with diverse stakeholders in order to achieve project outcomes.
Eleanor served as the first Jamaican female Country Manager for the CDC Capital Partners (formerly Commonwealth Development Corporation) managing a £54M portfolio of projects, having responsibility for Jamaica, The Bahamas, The Cayman Islands, and The Turks and Caicos Islands.
She has brought to bear her business and strategic management experience by supporting entities in the Caribbean, Africa, the USA and Indonesia. In her most recent engagement, Eleanor served as a full-time lecturer in the Department of Government at the University of the West Indies, Mona, Kingston, Jamaica.
Eleanor holds a B.Sc. degree in Management from the University of the West Indies (Mona), an MBA from Barry University (Florida, USA) and a Doctorate of Business Administration – International Management, from Nova Southeastern University (Florida, USA).
