3RD RESEMBID OCT COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE FORUM
June 3 @ 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
The OCTs Community of Practice Forum is a virtual space that promotes and facilitates the sharing and exchange of ideas, knowledge and practice among the OCTs. The Forum also serves as a major strand in a 7-pronged strategy being implemented by RESEMBID towards achieving full programming for the OCTs.
The overall objective is to provide an opportunity for implementers of RESEMBID-supported projects to share experiences on how they plan to use the Programme.
We are therefore pleased to announce our distinguished panel of presenters for the third convening of the RESEMBID OCT Community of Practice Forum, scheduled for Thursday 3rd June, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. AST, via Microsoft Teams.
Lori-Rae Alleyne-Franklin – Chief Statistician, Anguilla Statistics Department
Jasen Penn – Director (Ag.), Department of Disaster Management, British Virgin Islands (BVI)
Dr. Erik Boman – Director, St. Eustatius National Parks Foundation
Glenn Francis – Director, Montserrat Red Cross
Edward Turvill – Programme Manager, RESEMBID
With a focus on Resilience, the Forum follows the theme ‘Voices from the OCTs’ – this in-keeping with the overall objective of the 6-Part Series, in providing an opportunity for implementers of RESEMBID-supported projects to share experiences on how they plan to use the Programme.
More specifically these forums will seek to:
- Facilitate discussion on project ideas currently under development/ consideration.
- Foster and strengthen the ‘RESEMBID Community’.
- Identify ideas that can be developed by other OCTs into projects.
